cogniBIT is a tech startup realistically simulating the behavior of human traffic participants such as motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to support the development and safety assessment of assisted, automated and autonomous driving in simulation. Our traffic models – the cogniBOTs – are based on unique algorithms derived from state-of-the-art neurocognitive and sensorimotor research. Customers of our license-based software tool are automotive OEMs, suppliers and tech companies developing autonomous vehicles, as well as test organizations. Our team combines extensive knowledge in neuroscience and sensorimotor research with technical knowhow and experience in the automotive industry.
