Dr. Andreas Gerdes, Professor for Construction Chemistry and entrepreneur, KIT I have studied chemistry at the TU Clausthal and made my pHD at the ETH Zurich. I had my first contact with construction chemistry at the age of 15, when I had vacation jobs in a small company. Since then, the fascination for construction chemistry has never left me. Today, my goal is to make our infrastructure sustainable, as it is essential for prosperity and social development in every country in the world. That is why we are developing sustainable products, technologies and services for an efficient and durable infrastructure. Our strategy for this is to parallel basic research, applied research and technology transfer for short time-to-markets and strong patents.
